Garland Ray Bryant, 86, of Warren, passed away November 17, 2023 at Baptist Health in Little Rock. He was born on August 18, 1937 in New Edinburg, to the late Gordon Bryant and Gertrude Grice Bryant.
He was a member of First Methodist Church and retired from Potlatch as Traffic Manager on the railroad.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by a son, Michael Darren Bryant; brothers, Raymond Bryant and Morris Dean Bryant and a sister-in-law, Joen Bryant.
Survivors include his loving wife, Bobye Stephens Bryant, whom he married on December 28, 1960; a daughter, Leslie Paige Hui (Michael); grandchildren, Ryan Hui, Grant Hui and Alex Hui; sisters, Barbara Johnson (James) and Shirley Smalling (Dennis); a sister-in-law, Debbie Bryant, and a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved.
Funeral service was held 1 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2023, at Frazer’s Funeral Home. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
