Bennie Jean Nelson, 84, of Warren, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Chapel Woods Nursing Home in Warren. She was born on February 25, 1939 in Vick to the late Howell “Bubba” Hoyle and Lula Mae Hargis Hoyle. She was a seamstress, housewife and homemaker, and worked at Jack Winter in Warren.
Also preceding her in death was her husband, Bruce Edward Nelson and her step-father, James Harvey “Doc” Quimby.
Survivors include a son, Michael Edward Nelson of Bradley County; daughters, Kim Thomas (Phillip) of Heflin, La., Mary Grace Martin (Mike) of Rogers, and Laura Jean Hays of Texarkana; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held 2 p.m. November 30, 2023, at Union Hill Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
