Trenna Kemp, President, called the meeting to order.
The January minutes were emailed to members and passed out to those attending for review. The date for the Easter Egg Hunt is incorrect in the Upcoming events list. It should be April 4, 2026. Melody Spears made a motion to accept the January minutes as amended. Dave Kemp seconded the motion. Motion was passed.
Linda Hornaday, Treasurer, passed out the Financial Statement and after a brief discussion it will be filed for audit.
Game night will be February 26, 2026, at 5:00. Attendees are ask to bring snack food and drinks.
The Junk Hunt will be March 26-28, 2026. Everyone please bring your donations in as early as possible.
The Community Center BBQ Fund Raiser will be March 14, 2026. Melody will let everyone know what food they need to bring later.
The Easter Egg Hunt will be April 4, 2026. We will meet at 11:00 to setup the event, which will be from 1:00 to 3:00. Kathy Waldrop announced that she will no longer be organizing the Easter Egg Hunt or the Christmas Candyland setup and games. Discussion was held about the games and who would purchase the toys for the event. Games would be a cake walk, bubbles, egg-spoon race, bouncy ball race.
Melody Spears informed the group that the Cleveland County School Board would like to donate a piece of land at the New Edinburg School to the Community Center. The land contains the building where the Christmas lights are stored.
Don Triplett made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Luis Tolano seconded the motion. The motion passed.
The next meeting will be held on March 17, 2026.
