President Trenna Kemp called the meeting to order. Copies of the minutes were passed out to those in attendance. Motion was made by Melody Spears to accept the minutes as presented, seconded by Don Triplett. Motion passed.
The financial statement was distributed to those present and after a brief discussion. It will be filed for audit.
President Kemp advised the group that the Junk Hunt will be held September 24, 25 and 26. It was decided to see if the weather would cool off some before setting dates to begin preparations for the hunt.
Melody Spears stated that October 10 was the proposed date for the community center fundraiser. The menu will be decided before the next meeting.
Patricia McClellan told the group that registration for the 2026 Great Arkansas Cleanup is now open for the fall cleanup. Motion was made by Patricia, seconded by Roger McClellan, to participate. Motion passed.
Upcoming event dates are as follows and the Get Rhythm Festival scheduled in Kingsland for September 26 has been canceled.
